A note from the Directors:

A huge thank you to our talented cast and dedicated crew for bringing KRAMPUS to life. Your hard work, creativity, and passion made this show possible, and we are so grateful for each of you. This production wouldn't have been the same without your incredible effort and teamwork!

A heartfelt thank you to Culture Clash, Tim Friedman, and Steve Warstler for providing top-notch sound equipment and ensuring everything sounded perfect. We also extend our gratitude to Peg Whiting for her creative contributions and all around awesomeness for elevating our props and costume pieces, Vince Heintschel for your support, and to the Collingwood Arts Center for graciously hosting us. Most importantly, thank you to each and every one of you for coming out to support your local circus and the arts. We couldn’t do it without you!

We are proud to present KRAMPUS, an original creation inspired by the rich lore and traditions surrounding this legendary figure. To bring our unique version of the tale to life, we delved into countless stories and historical accounts from various cultures, exploring different interpretations and legends. In doing so, we’ve woven together an experience that’s distinctly ours, full of the magic and mystery of Krampus. Please note that, while we aimed for authenticity and respect for the source material, there may be variations or creative liberties taken that differ from the versions you might know.

As we bring our second production of KRAMPUS to the stage, we’re thrilled to share that we have many new and magical surprises in store. One of the things we’re absolutely giddy about is the music. This year, every song you’ll hear is completely original.

Renee Granados and Steve Warstler have poured their hearts into writing, composing, and producing the entire musical landscape of tonight’s show. Their creativity has infused this production with a fresh spirit and a sound that is uniquely, unmistakably ours.

The narrator’s dialogue has been fully revamped and newly written by Mac Ramsey, who also brings those very words to life on stage as our narrator.

We hope you enjoy this special retelling and embrace the spirit of the season with us! Enjoy the show!
